With the opening of Sundsvall Logistics Park and SCA’s new container port in Sundsvall, goods can now be efficiently handled by rail, sea, and trucks all in one location. This advancement promotes sustainable transportation for the industries in Västernorrland and will help further accelerate the green transition.

As investments in northern Sweden soar, the demand for reliable transportation grows.

– These investments are made to create even better logistics solutions for our industries, and ensure that we meet the needs of both existing businesses and future establishments, says Mikael Aamisepp, Director of Investment at High Coast Invest.

The investment has led to an integrated infrastructure where four railway tracks can handle up to 10 trains a day. The port is prepared for larger ships, and the new container line increases capacity by up to 100,000 containers per year.

Sundsvall Logistics Park is also the first Ceequal-certified logistics park in Sweden, a sustainability certification used for land and infrastructure projects worldwide, achieving the highest ranking.
