  • The Öviks Energi combined heat and power plant on site currently delivers steam at pressures between 7-9 bar.
  • Industries on the site have access to both process water and cooling water from the adjacent river and sea. Sewage treatment facilities are available on site. Currently, there are two different bioreactors on site, owned by private companies.
  • The E4 highway is within 2 km, with a BK4 road leading to the site. The site also serves with a public port.
  • The industrial area includes pulp mills, chemical manufacturing, combined heat and power plants, research institutes, and more. The focus is on the circular economy, industrial symbiosis, and using the forest as a raw material.
  • The site currently hosts ongoing Power-to-X and carbon capture projects, positioning it at the forefront of the green energy transition.
